A few weeks ago I wrote a letter to Mrs. Landry who is the grand daughter of Fred Marriott, the legendary Stanley race car driver. She was able to provide me with the build date January 30th, 1911 for my Stanley from the original Stanley warranty information . This is a wonderful piece of information and I'm extremely grateful that the information has been kept all these years. The quest for the dealer who sold the car is still ongoing but I feel strongly that the information is out there somewhere.
