Stanley on the side of the road

Museums and I rarely see eye to eye because of my strong belief that antique cars should be driven not placed on blocks and sectioned off with ropes. That being said, I was delighted to read this Boston news article on The Owls Head Transportation Museum and there 1908 Stanley Model K. They took it out on a tour, it broke down, and now they're going to fix it and try again. That's the spirit of touring. The magic of any antique, especially steamers, is when they are running down the road. They were made to be driven, so drive them!
