1908 Stanley Model EX Serial Number 4134 being pulled onto trailer.
This clipping came out of a Scrap Book complied by an old friend of my fathers named Buck Rogers. He has long since passed away but Buck was a Brass Era collector in his day and rescued many cars up and down the west coast.
The car pictured is a 1908 Stanley Model EX Serial number 4134 and is known in the steam community as "The Hermits Stanley". It was taken off the road in 1912 and wasn't rescued till the fall of 1960. As you can tell from the pictures it is a very complete example of one of the Stanley twins better selling models.
